This prompt is based on the song title, My Generation by The Who. Write about your generation. What makes it unique? Do you fit the stereotype or not? In fifty years, what do you think people will say about your generation? In 100 years, what consequences do you think the inaction, action, or reaction of your generation will have on the global community?

This prompt is based on the song title, Respect by Aretha Franklin. We all like to be respected, but sometimes we aren’t. When was the last time you were disrespected? When was the last time you disrespected someone? Were the actions justified? How did being disrespected make you feel? Perhaps you need to apologize. If so, write a scene where your apology is not accepted.

This prompt is based on the song title, Incense and Peppermints by the Strawberry Alarmclock.

The smell of incense can be overpowering, a strong scent people either love or hate. Same is true with peppermint. Its taste either delights or overwhelms the palate. Is something overpowering you, or are you overpowering to others? Perhaps the song title reminds you of church or a love-in. Whatever it is, just write about it.
